Design Assets
When creating social images, you must use assets from the following Figma files:
- Abbott Style Guide on Figma
- Backgrounds and Patterns on Figma
- Lifestyle & Stock Photos on Figma
- Product Images and Photos on Figma
- Icons on Figma
Fonts and Typography Requirements
- Font: Use Brandon Grotesque
- Titles
- Emphasized text should be in Medium weight
- The rest of the text in Light weight
- Subtitles and body
- Use Regular weight
- For events, use
date
|location
format, with the pipe as separator - Use Title Case for session titles
- Use 1-3% letter spacing/kerning for subheads
Disclaimer Text Usage
Only use the disclaimers contained within this Figma file; there are both branded and unbranded versions.
You can add these pre-built disclaimers to any working Figma file within the Abbott project by following the below steps:

Scroll down to Abbott Style Guide. Click and drag the disclaimers from the side panel into your artboard:

on the right sidebar, you can select the disclaimer type and color:
Logo Usage
- Small logo (i.e. alongside text) must always be positioned on the top left or bottom right corner.
- Within videos, sonic must be standalone on its own frame without disclaimer. Disclaimer goes on a separate frame with white background
- Logo orientation - use horizontal for most digital applications.
- Abbott Logos are already in Figma, and can be added from the Assets panel (see below screenshot):
Other logo spec requirements:
Use 300px width for horizontal logo in most applications.

Headshot Best Practices
- Headshot ratio should be 1:1, square (do not use circular headshots).
- Backgrounds should be replaced with grey matte.
